Brian Pincott was first elected to serve as Alderman for Ward 11 in October 2007. Brian moved to Calgary in 1996 and since his arrival has been involved in numerous community activities and initiatives.
As a new member of Calgary City Council this term, Brian is dedicated to fostering a culture of sustainability in the overall management of City services and to using the power of community engagement and collaboration to facilitate that vision.

Brian graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Arts in 1985; from that time until his election to Calgary City Council Brian worked in the theatre industry across Canada in a variety of roles, most recently as production manager and award winning lighting designer for Alberta Theatre Projects.
