I wanted to let you know about a community workshop taking place at the Southwood Community Association Hall on Saturday June 16th which will discuss the future Anderson Station Transit Oriented Development plan.

The City of Calgary has initiated a public engagement process to finalize the plans for the lands surrounding Anderson LRT Station, as part of the proposed Transit Oriented Development for the area. A Community Workshop is being held and we are inviting interested community members and other key stakeholders to attend. Discussions will include items such as: location and mix of different land uses; location, size and function of park spaces; densities, building heights; pedestrian routes and connections; location and function of streets; bike routes and bicycle facilities and transition to established communities.
